National Business and Technical Examinations Board, NABTEB 2015/16 may/June result statistics published.


The National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB) said it has sanctioned  2,079 candidates for examination malpractices out of the 75, 468 candidates that sat for the May/ June 2015 National Business Certificates (NBC) and the National Technical Certificate (NTC) examinations.
It said 19,000 candidates, representing 54.09 per cent obtained credit passes in five subjects including Mathematics and English Language in the in the NBC/NTC examinations. The Registrar and Chief Executive Officer of NABTEB, Dr. Olatunde Aworanti, who announced this at a press briefing, added that this was 12.91 per cent lower than last year’s figure.

The registrar, who said that 54,016 candidates, representing 70.25 per cent, had five credit and above, with or without English and Mathematics, noted that 15,848 sat for the Engineering Trade, 6,846 entered for Construction Trades; 1,710 for Miscellaneous Trades; and 16,818 for Business Trades.
